One Character, One Warrior Tee – Honda Tadakatsu #01 [ Dark Blue2 ver.]

The "One Character, One Bu" T-shirt series condenses the beliefs and aesthetics of Sengoku warlords into a single kanji character.
The painting of a military commander, drawn in response to that single character, is a masterpiece by historical illustrator Shikano.
The words and pictures are fused together to create a piece that embodies the "spirit of martial art" - truly "wearable samurai art."

The warlord in this work is Honda Tadakatsu, known as the strongest of the Sengoku period.
The character chosen is "Victory," which embodies the "determination to win" and "indomitable spirit" contained in the name.

The base color is "kachiiro," an auspicious color for praying for victory.
It is a deep indigo blue that was used by warlords in the armor and flags of the Sengoku period.
The back of the sword features a design based on the famous spear "Tonbogiri."
